Can I change from the MBiolSci to the BSc (or vice versa) once I have started my course? Which should I apply for?
Our suggestion is that if you are interested in the MBiolSci, you should apply for it, as there is no risk. If you make the grades (AAA), you are guaranteed a spot but can drop off it at any time in years 1-3 and graduate with the BSc.
Furthermore, if you have applied to the MBiolSci, but miss the grades, but achieve the BSc grade requirements (AAB), we move you onto the BSc course at confirmation time. Just to be clear, we do this only when you have made Sheffield your firm choice.
Finally, if you are on the BSc, there is a chance to apply to the MBiolSci, but your grades in year 1-3 count towards that, and we cannot guarantee there will be space.
