FAQ 359
I am currently studying 4 subjects at A-level and am planning to drop a science subject. Do you have a preference for which science subjects I continue to study.

You only need studying maths and a science subject at A-level (and three A-levels in total). Most of our undergraduates start without one of chemistry, physics, biology or further maths and so you will not be alone and our first year teaching ensures that you are brought up to speed in the necessary areas. While understanding chemical principles is important in chemical engineering, physics and maths underpin the subject and increasingly biological science plays an important role therefore any of these subjects - or other releavnt sciences - will serve you well on the course.
