FAQ 77
What happens if I don't get the grades I was expecting?

If you narrowly fail to satisfy the academic conditions of our offer, we may still be able to confirm your place. This will depend on whether we have any places left on the course you've applied for, any extenuating circumstances that may have impacted on your studies, and whether we believe you're sufficiently prepared for the course.

UCAS Track is 'frozen' during the week before the release of A Level results. It will reopen at around 8am on the morning of results day and you'll be able to log in to view university decisions.

If we were your Firm choice and have been unable to accept you, you should look for the decision of your Insurance choice.

If you've been unsuccessful at both your Firm and Insurance universities, there's the option of looking for a place at another university through Clearing.

If you've experienced issues of a personal, social or domestic nature which may have impacted on your ability to meet the conditions of your offer it's vital that you let us know as soon as possible, and before your examination results are released.
