The process involves you approaching one of our academic staff working in a suitable area directly to see if they would be happy to support an application from you. You can find information about staff on our website here and are welcome to contact the member of staff most suitable to your area of interest. Usually the member of staff will be able to offer some minimal supervision but this is at their discretion, so I would recommend speaking to them about the levels of support they would be able to offer.
As the Erasmus+ Traineeship scheme is a work placement scheme rather than a study scheme, please be aware that you would not be registered at the University of Sheffield as a student and would not have full student access to libraries or other student support services within the University.
