How important is my personal statement?
The personal statement is very important when we are making a decision on an application. The statement should be approximately 300 words in length. It should tell us your reasons for applying, what particularly interests you about this area of study and why you have chosen to study this programme at Sheffield. The Selector will want to to refer to the programme outline and the module choices in the statement, so that we know that you have read and understood the programme we offer.
