There are 4 compulsory modules in the Autumn Semester and 4 compulsory modules in the Spring Semester followed by an independent empirical research project i.e. a dissertation. Each module is awarded 15 credits, the dissertation is awarded 60 credits. The independent empirical research project will commonly begin around April or May and last until the conclusion of the programme, which is end of August.
This is a full-time programme, so we expect you to engage with learning and teaching for about 40 hours per week. There are variations per module depending on the concrete contents and activities in question, but most commonly contact hours will be about 4 per day for 2 consecutive days per week during teaching terms. There is a variety of teaching formats such as lecture, small group seminar, tutorials and practical sessions.
Further details regarding the concrete time schedule will be announced in June.
