With regards to the SQE, SQE is currently targeted for introduction in 2020, but it may be delayed. If you start then, you are likely to have a choice of routes:
1. The current system, for example the MA Law or GDL, followed by the LPC and a training contract.
2. The SQE exams and Qualifying Work Experience. You could do the MA Law (which would more than give you the 'law' needed for SQE1 - there may well be shorter crammer courses, but at this point, we don't know how acceptable these will be to firms) but would still need to do another course to prepare for the (much larger) 'practice' part of SQE1. There may well be courses that include both the law and practice element for those who have not previously studied English law.
It is likely that we will offer SQE preparation courses, but our plans are not finalised. The SQE assessments are centrally set.
